HOW TO GET THERE

BY CAR

The principal roads of access are the motorways C-16 (Barcelona, Terrace, Manresa) and AP-7 (Lleida, Tarragona, Girona). Also it can arrive for road since Cerdanyola, Rubí and Barcelona (for it Rabassada or for Vallvidrera). The tunnels of Vallvidrera are one other option but of payment.

If you drive your car at Sant Cugat center you will find more than thousand of parking's of payment at the underground parkings of plazas of the Villa, can Quitèria, Lluís Millet and Quatre Cantons. Also, near commercial axes and equipments there are blue zones and parkings of payment for a maximum of two hours. They are free at August.

BY TRAIN

Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya

Sant Cugat is well connected by public transport to the most important towns in the area, by train (FGC and Rodalies) and by intercity buses.

 

The Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) have the Barcelona - Vallès lines (S1, S2, S5 and S55), stopping at Sant Cugat station.

Rodalies de Catalunya

Sant Cugat del Vallès station is part of the current R8 line of Rodalies de Catalunya, which connects the stations of Martorell and Granollers-Center, crossing the counties of Baix Llobregat, Vallès Occidental and Vallès Oriental. The R8 is the first line of the commuter system that does not pass through the city of Barcelona.

BY BUS

The four lines of intercity buses managed by the Sarbus Group connect by road Sant Cugat with Barcelona (until the Paseo Fabra i Puig or the square Lesseps) and the Vallesans municipalities of Terrassa, Rubí, Sant Quirze and Cerdanyola.

BY TAXI

The Taxi Metropolitan Institute manages the taxi service to the Barcelona Metropolitan Area and in nearby municipalities such as Sant Cugat. About twenty radiotaxis stations operate in this area.

BY PLANE

The nearest airport is Barcelona Airport, 26 km (about 30 minutes by car). Girona-Costa Brava Airport is 87 km away (less than an hour by motorway).

The Tourist Office (OT) is the information point of Sant Cugat del Vallès where you can find advice and dissemination of the city's tourist offer (cultural, sports and leisure activities, museums and monuments, accommodation and restoration, etc.) and the rest of Catalonia.
